- Media concentration limits variety, creativity and quality
- More socially diverse patterns of ownership can create more varied and adventurous media productions
Woman Advert- 1985
- 'Exciting again' which infers that it had gotten boring, and that people should start buying it again.
- The Mast head has changed, it makes it look almost like a gossip magazine than a house work DIY cookery magazine that it used to be.
- The cover model look like she is going out to a cub and not staying home in the kitchen and being a mum.
- It has more of a fun mode of address, and there is no getting away from the bright colours.
- There is a competition to win a car, which s very different from the 60's as women were more accepted in driving in the 80's and not in the 60's.
- The magazine still shares a similar ideology, as there is a focus on kitchens, as you can 'win a kitchen'
- Not too much has changed to the magazine, apart from you can win a car, so the magazine is not that progressive over time.

- Promotional material from Time Inc Uk's profile page for Woman is not meant to be read by the audience, its meant to be for advertisers etc.
- The Brand identity did not differ from 1964 to 2018 , as it all includes similar stuff, and similar ideologies.
Key Theory- 13 Regulation Theory- Sonia Livingstone and Peter Hunt
How magazines are regulated?
- IPSO- Independent Press Standards Organisation
- They are not biassed, and are mainly involved in the regulation of newspapers and a bit in magazines.
- They are regulating the stories and editorial content.
- The regulation of magazines is pretty much worthless, as the companies can jut pay a fine if they get in trouble and forget about it, as they are making so much money anyway.
- The advertising standard agency regulates magazine adverts as well.
